		<description>Are we basing this criticism on what the Vatican itself said, or by what was reported by the mainstream media and their love for mocking all things Catholic? As we all know, there is the source, and then there are commentators on the source!

I don't think the Vatican is replacing the original seven deadly sins, but merely putting these sins of the modern world into context. Unfortunately in our modern world, too many people are too dense to connect the dots themselves, and in this age of relativism, I think the Vatican's statement is well-timed and appropriate.

I thought we were supposed to hear God's word and interpret it to apply to our daily lives. Or is this only wrong when it comes from the Vatican?</description>
