Does God ever choose sides? Can we not believe that, for His purposes and plans, God may intervene and cause a certain team to win? Within the sovereignty of God, this certainly is possible, but not necessary. The problem is, unless we are an extreme Calvinist, we may never know, how much, if any, God interevened. However, we must believe He has a purpose and plan in all things.
