This is here because my son Daniel wants to learn how to do this. So I have put it here for him.
I sure do have a handsome pair of boys.

I thought this was kind of cool. On NASA’s next moon trip they are going to take you with them. Well, not you, but your name.
From the website where you submit your name:
The Send Your Name to the Moon Web site enables everyone to participate in the lunar adventure and place their names in orbit around the moon for years to come. Participants can submit their information at http://lro.jhuapl.edu/NameToMoon/, print a certificate and have their name entered into a database. The database will be placed on a microchip that will be integrated onto the spacecraft. The deadline for submitting names is June 27, 2008.
My son did this and here is his certificate.

As many of you know, my son Michael and I took a father-son trip to DC during the last week of March. It was a wonderful trip. I recommend that all fathers should take their sons on a trip like this. I let Michael pick where and we went and saw the sights. It is a memory both of us will have forever. I chose his 13th year because that is a coming of age time in a young man’s life. The Jews chose to put their boys through a Bar Mitzvah and it was the official time of becoming a man. So we chose 13. But don’t just pick what we did. Find a time. Another friend of mine suggested when they graduate from High School. Whatever. Just do it!
Day at the River
This video was shot during our recent trip to the mountains. We stopped along the Blue Ridge Parkway and enjoyed some time by the river. There were many other’s there when we arrived doing the same.

My son Michael took this one on his trip with mom, brother and grandma to Cincinnati. It is a waterfall at the Krohn Conservatory. I was amazed at how nice a picture he could get with Grandma’s old Sony 2 MP camera.

Here is a picture I took of our county’s courthouse in downtown Morganton, NC. I think this is a really pretty building.

This is my first attempt at combining a progression of pictures. I like it.
