Just like people occasiontally do a renovation of their home, I’ve done a renovation of my site.  Since I got it back this week I thought I’d update the look.

You will notice the header picture.  I took that shot at a local park near the river.  Also on the right hand side there are links, a calendar, and other useful things.  But the most interesting is an RSS feed of my blog entitled The Digital Pulpit which is an effort by me to give a course in how to do Digital Bible Study in preperation for preaching a sermon using Multimedia.

Let me know how you like the new look.  By the way you will have to re-register to comment.  Sorry, but I lost all the other users databases.

Most people who would read this blog are people who would access it via www.kevinpurcell.org until March 27 when that domain expired.  I failed to renew it because I never got the notice from Registerfly, the company I registered it through.  You see I moved between the last time I renewed in 2006 and today; the old email address I had is no longer.  Then Registerfly went out of business.  There is a scam artist acting like the company and taking credit card payments but they ain’t them.  I tried to renew through them and all I got was a few bucks poorer.  But hopefully it will be all fixed soon.

Until then replace .org with .net and you will still be able to find me.

I’ve posted a new page with a Bible Study I wrote using the film It’s a Wonderful Life. See the link to the right. If you are a High Peak member don’t look a this till after the study is over or it will spoil the fun. Just kidding, sort of.

I’ve just updated the Photo Gallery site using software from Gallery. You can access it by clicking the photo link below my picture above or here. Thew new software allows for easier uploading and so hopefully I’ll be putting more pictures up there.

If you are a regular reader of Pulpit Housecalls, then you saw my link to a page about Star Wars. I am sorry that I linked to it because it had a couple of profane words on it. They escaped my attention (I honestly think the site was changed or updated after I first saw it). But thanks to a person who read it and pointed it out to me.

My web site has a slightly new look. I have simplified things by getting rid of the opening page. I am also using my blog as the main page. I think this is much easier to navigate and use. If you want to find any of the links, go to the side bar and scroll down to see links to other parts of my page.
