Michael’s Karate Pictures

My son Michael did his senior project at Valdese Elementary School this year. He taught a Karate class to kids in their after school program under the supervision of his mentor, Gary Dellinger. Gary runs a Karate class at the Valdese Rec Center on Monday, Wednesday and Friday nights. Here are some of the pictures we took with the other at my Flickr page.

Here’s one of my favorites – a little girl demonstrating a punch!

Michael did a great job on his project and we’re really proud of him.

Vacation

We took a nice two week vacation across the Southeastern US and a couple of our stops were at an Alligator Farm in Louisiana and Navarre Beach, FL near Pensacola. I shot a short video of those two places.

Lifeless

This is one of those pictures you take and think when you first look at it, “This is terrible.” But then you play with it and lo and behold it turns into something. I really like it and that’s the person I’m trying to impress with my photography!

Daniel Playing Soccer

This is one of Daniel playing in his summer pick up league game in Morganton. He played goalie and did a good job. They lost 4-2 but Daniel did a good job.
