Preaching and Mind Mapping Software
Do you use Mind Mapping for sermon prep or for sermon delivery? I have been interested in this for quite some time. But I’ve never had anyone sit down and show me how to use it. I found a video that offers ideas on using mind mapping for sermon prep and brainstorming or organizing thoughts about a message. It looks like something I could use and hope to do so. Here is the tutorial video:
Let me know what you use and how you use it. I’d love to see it in video if you can make a screencast or something. For Mac OS X users, what do you use?
I woud definitely like to see mind mapping approaches used not just for sermon prep, but also the sermons themselves. Maybe even with a product like Prezi tha kind of take the idea of kind mapping but makes the map the spatial presentation deck. In anynrespect, would be neat and definitely has value.
I’m nit a pastor, ad so my mind mappi exercises are more about data, data connection, and process mapping items.

I would love to get an example of one of your mind maps. If you do another video I ‘d like to see various printing options. Also, is there a way to limit the horizontal length on the text boxes? Very helpful video, thanks!
As I said in the post this was not my video and I haven’t done any. But if and when I do, I will post one to show how I used it. Thanks!
This is a part of my prep, only I use several sheets of paper and draw out all the bubbles. I really like this but wish the software wasn’t so pricey!
