Missions Fund

About a year and a half ago I had an idea. I wanted to support missions in an ongoing way. My wife and I already support missions via our church and we support a couple of missionaries in an ongoing way. But I wanted to do more. Thankfully the Lord has blessed us so that we can pay our bills. On occasion, as a pastor, you get monetary gifts from people. I decided I wanted to take these gifts and make them eternal. So we contacted the North Carolina Baptist Foundation, an arm of the Baptist State Convetion of North Carolina. Their purpose is to invest funds for people and help them not only invest for the future but also give to mission work. What we did is set up a missions fund that, after it is fully funded, will give the proceeds to the Lottie Moon Offering for International Missions.

Lately, we have been thinking that people may want to give to this fund as well. We give regularly to it. But if you want to give us a birthday gift or some other gift for whatever reason, we would rather you give that gift to our missions fund. You can do so easily by sending a check to the following:

All gifts are tax deductable and we get absolutely none of the money. It all goes to support the Lottie Moon Missions Offering. Currently the proceeds will go to the offering at High Peak Baptist Church, where I serve as pastor. Thanks for considering this gift. And we pray God will bless it and you!
